What is AI?

AI stands for artificial intelligence. It refers to the development of algorithms and computer programs that enable machines to perform tasks that would normally require human intelligence. The goal of artificial intelligence is to equip machines with capabilities that include learning, problem-solving, language processing, visual perception, and similar cognitive functions.
There are two main types of artificial intelligence: weak AI and strong AI. Weak AI refers to systems that are limited to specific tasks or problem areas, while strong AI would possess general intelligence comparable to that of humans.
AI applications are diverse and range from machine learning and deep learning to robotics, natural language processing, computer vision, and many other fields. Artificial intelligence is used in various industries and sectors such as healthcare, finance, the automotive industry, education, and entertainment.
