The Digital Learning and Teaching team offers (online and in-person) training sessions & events, sometimes in close cooperation with Higher Education Didactics.
We are also happy to provide individual consultations or group consultations with your colleagues.

This event series includes several themed months. The first three months – May, June, and July – focus on legal regulations, examinations, and teaching. The series is aimed at all instructors at universities in Lower Saxony.
Each session consists of 30 minutes of input followed by 30 minutes of discussion.
The lectures are generally recorded and available for later viewing.

The lecture series takes place in the summer semester 2025 every Wednesday from 12:15 to 13:15 in ZHG 007.
Each session focuses on different topics and features various speakers.
The overarching theme is how chatbots such as ChatGPT & Co influence writing and foreign language learning.
The event is aimed at students but is also open to all interested university members.
Participants are expressly invited to bring a lunch snack, in the spirit of a brown bag session, and consume it during the event.
In addition to attending the lecture series, students can participate in one of the following in-depth workshops and earn ECTS credits. More information on the workshops can be found

After a short introduction to the topic of AI, the AI teaching workshop offers you the opportunity to actively try out various tools through different tasks and then discuss their potential use in your teaching with other instructors.

A workshop on competence-oriented assessment, exam formats, and grading aids in the age of AI. Also included: Use of AI tools in exam creation. Please register using the form below.
