    Im Rahmen der Ringvorlesung „Wald im Wandel" der Universität Göttingen hielt Prof. Alexander Knohl einen Vortrag über die Auswirkung von Klimaextremen auf Wälder.
  • Ausstellung 'Digitaler Wald' im Nationalparkzentrum Hainich
    Die Ausstellung „Digitaler Wald – Eine virtuelle Reise in die Klimaforschung" zog 2024 vom Forum Wissen in das Besucherzentrum des Nationalparks Hainich um. Hier konnten Besuchende durch Virtual Reality erfahren, wie die Auswirkungen von Dürre auf den Wald untersucht werden.

    Im Rahmen des FoResLab-Projektes fand eine Waldexkursion mit grünen Kommunalpolitiker*innen und dem ZKfN statt.
  • VBIO Onlineveranstaltung „Boden, Bäume, Klima – das System Wald"
    Bei dieser Veranstaltung für Schüler*innen der Sekundarstufe II hielt Prof. Alexander Knohl einen Vortrag über die Auswirkungen von Trockenjahren auf Mittelgebirgswälder.

    In einem TV-Beitrag im NDR stellte Prof. Alexander Knohl das Forschungsprojekt FoResLab und den Standort Göttinger Wald vor.
  • Sonderausstellung 'Digitaler Wald' im Forum Wissen Göttingen
    In der Ausstellung „Digitaler Wald – Eine virtuelle Reise in die Klimaforschung" im Forum Wissen wird mithilfe von Virtual Reality gezeigt, wie Forschende den Einfluss von Dürre auf den Wald untersuchen.

    Beim Klimafestival des AStA Uni Göttingen hielt Franziska Koebsch einen Vortrag über den Einfluss vom Wald auf das lokale und globale Klima.
  • Beitrag zu Diskussionsveranstaltung
    Bei der Veranstaltung mit anschließender Podiumsdiskussion „No Future?: Klimakrise in Wissenschaft und Öffentlichkeit" der Universität Göttingen sprach Franziska Koebsch über wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse zum Klimawandel und seinen Folgen.
  • Buchentagung 2023
    Bei der Buchentagung 2023 stellte Alexander Knohl aktuelle Forschungsergebnisse zu den Folgen der Sommerdürre im Nationalpark Hainich vor.
  • Gesprächskonzert „Die Vier Jahreszeiten im (Klima)wandel"
    Inspiriert durch Klimawandelforschung wurde Antonio Vivaldis „Die Vier Jahreszeiten" von Prof. Dr. Mark Barden (Professor für Komposition, Hochschule für Musik Detmold) und den Kompositionsstudierenden Carlo Tosato, Zara Ali und Daniel Kalantari neu interpretiert. Zwischen den vier Konzertsätzen erläuterten Alexander Knohl, Anne Klosterhalfen, Franziska Koebsch und Christian Markwitz aktuelle Erkenntnisse zur Auswirkung des Klimawandels auf die vier Jahreszeiten und wie diese Veränderungen in die Neukomposition des Stückes eingeflossen sind.

    In einer Folge der Videoserie der Universität Göttingen zeigten Marius Heidenreich und Franziska Koebsch den Forschungsstandort Hainich und erklärten das Projekt Digital Forest.
  • Forest Expert Program
    Anne Klosterhalfen und Franziska Koebsch leisteten eine Exkursion an den Forschungsstandort Hainich und diskutierten mit Forstexpert*innen aus dem Forest Expert Program, wie sich der Wald angesichts zunehmender Dürren entwickelt.
