Directions to the Department of Forest Genetics and Forest Tree Breeding




Arrival by train:
Göttingen can be reached via various train connections and ICE lines. Tickets are available online from Deutsche Bahn or at ticket counters and machines in the train stations.

Continue by taxi:
Coming from the train station (towards the city center), taxis are waiting on the left-hand side. The destination is Büsgenweg 2, 37077 Göttingen (North Campus).

Continue by bus:
Exit the train station towards the city center. The bus station is on your right. Take bus lines 21, 22, or 23 towards Faßberg. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the Burckhardtweg stop. From there, walk downhill for about 30 meters and turn left onto the path leading to the university campus. Continue along this path until the largest building on your left with the sign "Büsgenweg 2". The Department of Forest Genetics and Forest Tree Breeding is located on the 2nd floor.

Traveling by car:
If you are coming on the A7, exit at Göttingen Nord (junction 72). Follow the motorway feeder road (B3) straight ahead and through Göttingen (B27) until you leave the city. At the large intersection with a restaurant on the right, please turn left towards Faßberg/ Nikolausberg. The road leads uphill. At the second junction, turn left and then immediately left again onto Burckhardtweg. Here, please take the second entrance on the left to reach the car park. From the car park, walk towards the high-rise building with the sign "Büsgenweg 2". The Forest Genetics and Forest Tree Breeding department is located on the 2nd floor.
