Workshop: Teaching and GenAI in higher Education


The AI-Workshop: "Teaching and GenAI in higher Education" takes place on 8th of Juli 2025.

Dr. Angelika Thielsch will work with you in a workshop to address the new challenges and opportunities surrounding AI in the higher education context. The focus will be on integrating AI into teaching and learning, and on how to help students successfully use AI tools to support their learning process. A particular emphasis will be placed on generative AI (GenAI), such as ChatGPT, and the ethical and practical questions that arise from its use will be discussed.

The workshop will also focus on your personal teaching – how can you specifically integrate AI competently into your courses? Let’s find out together!
The registration is open until June 24, 2025, and the workshop will be held in English.

AI in Teaching and Exams


The event series "AI in Teaching and Exams" enters its third thematic month with the start of July.

After the focus in June was on AI and exams, in July, the focus will shift to the use of AI in teaching. The series is aimed at all instructors at universities in Lower Saxony. Each session includes half an hour of input and half an hour of discussion. The presentations are usually recorded and can be accessed afterward.

The next event takes place on Monday, 1st of July – the topic is: "Open round for questions about AI in teaching"
