Apply (alone or as a team) if you are passionate about your research topic, want to inspire others (even those outside your field) and are curious about the work of your fellow students!
We look forward to your ideas, your research and the mutual exchange! Join us and help shape the 11th Conference for Student Research.

Research during one's studies is an important part of academic education. It not only promotes in-depth subject knowledge, but also critical thinking, creative problem solving and scientific communication. In addition, it strengthens students' independence and improves their career prospects. At the University of Göttingen, student research is already possible at bachelor's level through the "Research-Oriented Teaching and Learning" programme (FoLL). Students go through the entire research process, from submitting their application to presenting their results.

StuFo fills an important gap in the higher education system by offering students their own platform to present their research independently of established conferences. This makes student research visible across disciplines and universities. The conference promotes exchange and networking and supports students in becoming part of the scientific community at an early stage. In June 2016, the first nationwide conference for student research (StuFo) was launched in Oldenburg. Since then, the StuFo has continued to develop. Numerous universities in Germany – including Berlin, Bochum, Kiel, Hamburg, Hohenheim and Friedrichshafen – have already hosted the conference.
