Limited to a max. of 20 participants.




Examination:

Term paper (max. 25 pages per person) in group work

Examination prerequisites:

Regular attendance and presentation (approx. 25 minutes + Q&A) in group work




Admission requirements:

There are no formal requirements. Knowledge from the module „Entrepreneurship [M.WIWI-BWL.0173]“ is recommended.




Course Content:

In the first part of the course, basic concepts and methods of entrepreneurship research are taught. This refers in particular to the skills needed to write a scientific essay. Furthermore, students learn how to use the software STATA for quantitative- empirical analyses. In the second part of the course, students apply this knowledge by independently deriving a research question in the field of entrepreneurship and empirically testing related hypotheses. They demonstrate this knowledge by presenting their research question, hypotheses, empirical results and contribution in a presentation and a term paper.
