Lennart Reiners successfully defended his doctoral thesis on "Local Dimensions of Development" in summer 2023, and is currently working within the young professional program of the Asian Development Bank.



Lennart was an external PhD student at the Chair of International Economic Policy. Parallel to writing a thesis, he worked at the evaluation department of KfW Development Bank in Frankfurt. Before joining the chair, he gained work experience at the International Finance Corporation and the Asian Development Bank with a particular focus on monitoring and evaluation. As part of his studies towards a degree in international economics from the Goethe University Frankfurt he spent time abroad in China and the USA.
