The Master’s programme in Business Education and Human Resource Development (MSc) has been closed for the winter semester 2023/2024. Students already enrolled will be allowed to complete the programme by the end of the winter semester 2025/2026.
Would you like to work in human resource development? After your successful completion of the master's programme, you will be able to plan and accompany personnel development processes in organisations. You will examine instruments for personnel selection and diagnostics. You will decide on the selection of suitable instruments, and you will also be able to modify and develop the instruments. Furthermore, at the end of the programme you will be able to interpret scientific studies on vocational and workplace learning as well as on formal and informal learning and to weigh their possible implications for practice in the field of human resource development. You will also acquire competencies in the detached reflection of processes in practice. This enables you to optimize human resource development processes and learning processes in the context of vocational education and training.
The programme includes courses in economics and business, in particular, human resource management, including human resource law, education studies, and subject didactics in the field of business education, as well as a master's thesis. If you go abroad within the framework of one of the above-mentioned programmes, you usually do not have to pay tuition fees for studying at a foreign partner university (the University of Mississippi charges reduced tuition fees).
