Das Campus-Institut Data Science (CIDAS) der Universität Göttingen lädt in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Fachbereichen zu einer digitalen Informationsveranstaltung ein. Ziel ist es, interessierten Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen und -wissenschaftlern aus dem Bereich der Künstlichen Intelligenz einen Überblick über die Forschungsumgebung, Kooperationsmöglichkeiten und Unterstützungsangebote an der Universität Göttingen und darüber hinaus zu geben.

Vorstellung der Universität Göttingen, ihrer Forschungsinfrastruktur sowie des interdisziplinären Zentrums CIDAS. - Informationen zum Angebot der Fördermöglichkeiten für KI Nachwuchsgruppen sowie von ERC Starting Grant (mehr zu den Ausschreibung untenstehend):
Erläuterung des Ablaufs der Antragstellung mit Unterstützung der Universität Göttingen: Zeitplan, erforderliche Unterlagen, Fristen sowie individuelle Unterstützungsangebote im Rahmen der Antragserstellung. - Networking mit Forschungsbereichen
Vorstellung von Vertreterinnen und Vertretern verschiedener Bereiche, wie z.B. Informatik, Medizininformatik oder Forstwissenschaften sowie die anschließende Möglichkeit zum weiteren Austausch und Vereinbarung von individueller Folgeterminen.

The Emmy Noether Programme is a highly competitive and attractive funding scheme by the DFG that enables researchers to qualify for a professorship by independently leading a junior research group combined with teaching duties appropriate to their career stage. It thus offers a "fast track to professorship."
The call is aimed at outstanding researchers two to four years after completing their doctorate. Periods of illness or parental leave are taken into account. The programme is open to both postdoctoral researchers and junior professors with fixed-term contracts. International applicants are expected to continue their academic careers in Germany following the funding period.
