The counselling service is open to students (including UMG), employees and members (e.g. as visiting researchers, lecturers) of the university. The anti-discrimination counselling is the central point of contact for dealing with discrimination at the university. Those affected, observers, counsellors or people supporting anti-discrimination receive advice, support and information as well as strategies for taking action in the context of experiences of discrimination. Data processing is carried out for the purpose of communication and to process concerns, including monitoring recurring issues from which structural change requirements can be derived.

The legal basis for the processing of the data is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) EU-DSGVO. This is assumed as soon as you have disclosed your data to the Anti-Discrimination Counselling.

The data processing is carried out for the purpose of communication and to process the concerns, including monitoring with regard to recurring issues from which structural change requirements can be derived. This is assumed as soon as you have disclosed your data to the Anti-Discrimination Counselling.

The following personal data will be archived for the purpose of processing your request, provided that you disclose it: Surname, first name, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, the wording of communication with the counsellor, matriculation number, degree programme and semester. This personal data is regularly archived for a period of two years; if, in individual cases, a matter has not yet been concluded after two years, until the matter has been concluded. The following factual data is also archived: Type of contact, date of receipt and conclusion, type of concern, summary of the concern, processing history incl. institutions involved, status and outcome. The factual data is also archived for a period of two years.
