Dear students,
From September 1 through 30, 2026, students (bachelor’s and master’s) can once again apply for the Germany and Lower Saxony Scholarships.
If successful, recipients of the Germany Scholarship will receive 300 euros per month for one year; recipients of the Lower Saxony Scholarship will receive a one-time payment of an estimated 500 euros. In the past, approximately 20 Germany Scholarships and approximately 10 Lower Saxony Scholarships were awarded annually at the School of Forestry.
This year, the faculty will once again award up to three “Hildegard Wonsowicz Scholarships” to socially disadvantaged students in the bachelor’s or master’s programs in Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology. Here, too, students will receive 300 euros per month for one year. The same application requirements apply as for the Germany Scholarship; you can apply using the same application form.
Please read the admission guidelines carefully. Your grade point average plays a crucial role: In the past, applicants typically needed a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
