- Who can register for the university didactics courses??
The University Didactics program is aimed at lecturers at the University of Göttingen; lecturers at Clausthal University of Technology can also participate. (Please ask if participation is possible: hochschuldidaktik@zvw.uni-goettingen.de.) - How can I register?
Registration for the workshops takes place exclusively online via our homepage. - What happens after registration?
After you have registered online via our homepage, you will receive a response from us within a week with further information (a confirmation or a rejection). - I have taken part in a workshop but am not yet in the certificate program. Can this workshop count towards the certificate program if I register for it?
In terms of content, of course, but financially it is unfortunately not possible to credit workshops already attended to the certificate program and reimburse the costs. - I cannot attend a workshop in full. Can I still receive the confirmation of participation?
You should be present for 80% of the course so that the certificate of attendance can be issued. - I need childcare (at short notice) for part of the workshop time?

Costs
- Certificate program in university didactics A flat fee of 600 euros is charged for participation in the Certificate Program in Higher Education Didactics.
- Certificate Program University Didactics PLUS A flat fee of 250 euros is charged for participation in the University Didactics PLUS certificate program.
- Open workshop offer The participation fee for open workshops depends on the length of the workshop attended:
- 0,5 days(4 WU): 25,- euros
- 1 day (8 WU): 50,- euros
- 1,5 days (12 WU): 75,- euros
- 2 days (16 WU): 100,- euros
This amount includes the fees for all elements of the certificate program including elective workshops of 1.5 (up to max. 2) days.

Payment
- Please transfer the respective amount only after receiving an official confirmation of registration. It is often possible for the workshop costs to be covered by your faculty/institution. Please ask there.
- What is an exchange of services and how should I fill in the exchange of services form?
Exchange of services is the internal allocation for the cost center of the University of Göttingen.
You can download the service exchange form here. Completion instructions:
- Please enter sender as your department/institute and recipient as Hochschuldidaktik, Waldweg 26, 37073 Göttingen.
- Please enter both the name of the participant and the title of the workshop in the description.
- The signature on the internal service settlement may not be provided exclusively by the participating person; the signature of another person is required here.
You should send the completed service exchange form, which has been signed by the responsible administrator (or the secretary's office), by post (or by internal mail) to the University Didactics Department. Please enclose a printout of the confirmation for the workshop (email) with the service exchange form so that the payment can be allocated! - The workshop has been canceled or I have withdrawn from the workshop in due time. How do I get my money back?
In such cases, you should request a refund of the workshop fee in an e-mail (subject: Refund of workshop fee) to the University Didactics Department. The e-mail should contain the following information:

- Credit institution / account number / sort code or IBAN:
- Type of transfer: (exchange of services / bank transfer)
- I paid the participation fee privately. Funds have subsequently been approved for further training, can I have the participation fee refunded?
In this case, you can obtain a receipt from us, which you can present to your responsible administrator. The procedure for reimbursement must be arranged internally by you. - I have registered for a workshop and have been accepted. When will I receive the invoice?
You will not receive a separate invoice from Hochschuldidaktik in addition to the confirmation email. Unless you expressly require something else. Then please contact us.
General workshops
- What does WU mean?
The term “WU” refers to the working units of a workshop. A work unit is 45 minutes. - How can I prove - e.g. for an application - that I have taken part in a workshop?
After attending the event, please let us know that you require a certificate of attendance (provided that you were present for at least 80% of the event).
